The American composer Chester Biscardi was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on 19 Oct 1948. He earned B.A. and M.A. degrees in English and literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison before concentrating on music composition. Biscardi went on to receive an M.M. degree from Wisconsin-Madison and later was awarded M.M.A. and D.M.A. degrees from the Yale University School of Music.
